The Alex Agape Foundation is dedicated to providing care, support, and opportunities for vulnerable children from all backgrounds, communities, and faiths in Kerala, India. We seek to create safe, nurturing environments where children who have experienced trauma, loss, neglect, or difficult circumstances can heal, grow, and thrive. Through our work, we strive to help every child experience dignity, belonging, education, and hope for a brighter future.
Our Work
At Alex Agape Home, we care for children who cannot be cared for by their biological families, including children who have experienced abuse, neglect, abandonment, disability, or medical challenges.
As a registered Child Care Institution under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 (Reg. No. 59/17), our goal is to provide more than a safe place to live—we seek to give each child the love, stability, support, and belonging every child needs.
We provide for their daily needs while helping them heal, learn, and grow through education, medical care, therapy, opportunities to play and develop, and consistent relationships with caring adults.
We give particular attention to children with disabilities and special needs, helping them participate, develop their abilities, and experience the same joy and opportunities as every other child.
Above all, our work is about seeing the child—not the circumstances that brought them to us. Every child is precious, capable, and worthy of being known, loved, and given the opportunity to flourish.
