Who are we
Agape is a special word for love in Greek. It is a love that is unconditional. It is a love that treats every person as relational, having intrinsic value, worthy of dignity and respect, irrespective of their abilities or social status. Similarly, the word Alex is derived from the Greek word "Alexander" which means "helper and defender of mankind" or to "defend or to protect."
Our name "Alex Agape" reflects our conviction and mission.
Registered in 2017 as a Public Charitable Trust in Kerala, India, our primary objective is to care for orphaned, abandoned, abused, and underprivileged women and children. Our first step was to establish the Alex Agape Home - a care and rehabilitation home for children in need of care and protection.
The spectrum of children we care for is broad, including children with medical, developmental, neurological, or physical special needs, as well as neurotypical children who have been abandoned, abused, exploited, or neglected, or have emotional special needs as a result of abuse or trauma.
In a world that does not always see the beauty and value of children with special needs, we are especially thankful for the opportunity to care for our EXTRA SPECIAL children with an extra amount of love, dignity, and respect. We believe this is one of the best expressions of defending humanity in its very essence.

Our Mission
To establish loving and nurturing homes for children who require special attention and care, focusing on meeting their emotional, medical, and developmental needs, as well as to provide a safe home for women who have been abandoned or abused. Our mission is to create a nurturing and supportive environment where every child and woman feels valued, loved, and safe. We aim to provide personalized care for each child, including therapy, medical treatment, education, and ample opportunities for play, creativity, and self-expression. We are also committed to supporting abused, abandoned, underprivileged women with children by providing them with resources and assistance to help them stay together with their children and rebuild their lives.
Our Vision
To create an environment where an orphaned, abandoned, and abused child, child with special needs, and abused and abandoned women can find a safe and loving home.
